JOURNALISM VETERAN LAUNCHES CONSULTING FIRM Richmond, Va - After 12 years of working for a variety of firms in radio, television, and public relations, a local communications veteran is launching his own public relations firm. EndGame Public Relations will focus on media relations, public relations, and audio news releases. The firm is headed by Steve Mullen, who earlier in his career worked as a news producer at WTVR TV and a news director at WVNZ Radio (then AllNews990, an all news format station). More recently, he worked as a media relations specialist at SLAY Public Relations and a company spokesperson for Circuit City. He has also completed freelance projects for organizations including QubicaAMF, the UVa Center for Politics, American Media Services, and Virginia Governor Tim Kaine. "I'm very excited about this opportunity," said Mullen. "I've wanted to venture out on my own for a long time, and I think we can do great work for our clients." Also working for EndGame PR is Mullen's wife, Jennifer Mullen. She is also a journalism veteran who worked as a news producer at WWBT.
