Two Guys and a Truck® Owner Announces Virginia Franchise Opportunity

Sterling, Virginia - Dave Underwood's experience in the moving and storage business spans more than half of his life, and now he's passing that experience to entrepreneurs hoping to start a successful business of their own.

Underwood, CEO of 2GT, Inc., is announcing a statewide effort to sell exclusive Two Guys and a Truck® franchise territories all over Virginia. He founded the full service local, nationwide, and international moving and storage business in 1987, and moved it to its current headquarters in Sterling, Virginia two years later.

Underwood started working as a mover when he was 18 years old. After 29 years in the business, he's seen nearly everything and is in a unique position to teach others how to provide excellent customer service and run a successful moving business.

"We are consistently more professional than our competitors," said Underwood. "Training in this business is sometimes nonexistent, but Two Guys and a Truck only sends trained, uniformed associates to deliver your belongings to your new home or business."

Two Guys and a Truck's extensive training facility is unheard of from a company this size. Inside their warehouse at company headquarters is a nearly full size mock-up of a townhouse. The training tool is used to ensure new employees know how to pack and move items safely and securely. The facility will be available to all new franchisees, with Underwood himself guiding the training process.

The franchise effort is part of a plan to sell exclusive territories in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. 15 franchise areas are currently available from Two Guys and a Truck in Virginia. Another 15 to 20 are available in Maryland and Washington D.C. Several territories have already been sold in Maryland, with excellent results for the franchisees.
