Family Lifeline




Background: Family Lifeline is a not-for-profit charity that serves Richmonders where they live, work and learn. The organization is celebrating its 130th birthday this year!

Family Lifeline marked its 130th birthday in 2007. One of the numerous ways they celebrated was to schedule Dr. Maya Angelou to speak as part of a fundraiser on November 1. EndGame PR's goals were to gain media interviews and stories before the event in order to boost ticket sales, and maximize coverage on the night of the event.

Shamin Hotels and Marine Comfort Quilts


Shamin Hotels donated meeting space at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpark to a great organization called Marine Comfort Quilts (MCQ.) The organization has a goal of sending a commemorative quilt to the family of every soldier who dies in Operation Iraqi Freedom. EndGame PR's goal was to gain coverage for this national charitable group while at the same time getting publicity for Shamin Hotels and its facility.

 Live interview on WTVR TV's CBS 6 Sunday Morning with an MCQ volunteer, who (as coached) mentioned Shamin Hotels and the Hilton Garden Inn multiple times.

 WTVR TV also aired a story on the day of the event that featured video as well as a soundbite from an MCQ volunteer.

Vogue Flowers & Gifts launched a brand new shipping option, just in time for Mother's Day. EndGame PR was hired to ensure everyone heard about it. Shipped Direct is a change from the old way of delivering flowers out of town that can save the sender up to 50%! EPR produced two releases, one straight business and one feature, and contacted the media on Vogue's behalf. Here are the results:

 The Richmond Times-Dispatch (circulation: 188,893) ran a story with a picture on the first page of their Metro Business section.

 Vogue's President was interviewed live on the Lite 98 Wake Up Show with Bill Bevins on WTVR FM, the area's top morning radio show.

 WTVR TV (Channel 6, Richmond) ran a story with a graphic twice during their CBS 6 Sunday Morning program.

Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church: An EPR pro bono client
Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church recently organized a beautification project called Better Together in Bryan Park. EndGame PR provided media relations services on a pro bono basis, helping them make it a huge success! The RESULTS were wonderful!

National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA): Heating Prices ANR


EndGame PR was hired to produce an audio news release (ANR) for SLAY Public Relations client NORA, the National Oilheat Research Alliance. The topic of the ANR, released in the autumn, was the high price of heating oil and how to save money on your heating bill. The RESULTS were outstanding!

 An estimated 3,435 stations aired the ANR!

 The ANR was aired by those stations an estimated total of 10,305 times!!

 Total listenership is estimated at nearly 13,000,000!!!
