New C’ville Seminar Coming on May 12

Back on April 28, I was the keynote speaker at a seminar in Charlottesville, VA that was organized by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Central Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC).  The seminar topic was small business recovery, and I discussed a number of strategies that small business owners could potentially use without outside help, such as media relations, SEO, and social media.  The seminar was such a success that I’ve been invited back for an encore!

On May 12, I’ll present as part of a workshop entitled E-Commerce In a Down Economy.  My talk will cover many of the same topics that I discussed in April, except I’ll skip the traditional PR tactics like media relations and focus more on social media and SEO.

The seminar runs from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Albemarle County Office Building.  Admission is FREE, but seating is limited to around 50, and those seats fill up fast.

For more information, check out this PDF document from the SBA.
