The Life Cycle of a Blog Post
Wired Magazine has boiled down in a flash graphic what happens to a blog post from the minute you think of it, all the way to when a random person finds it on the web. It’s really amazing, and I strongly recommend you take a look. It may make you think before blasting your ex-girlfriend in a blog post one late night after you’ve had far too many kamakazi shooters. On the flipside, it may also make you think about keeping your business blog a bit more updated.

EndGame PR Podcast Production Premiers Higher Education Podcast
Yes … I know … I just did a promotional post. Well, here’s another one.
I’m pleased to announce the premier of VaHigherEd Podcast! EndGame PR Podcast Production, a service of EndGame Public Relations, LLC, is producing the program with the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). As stated in the news release I issued today, the podcast features students, educators, and administrators from Virginia’s Community Colleges describing their experiences in higher education and explaining how they’re utilizing Virginia’s educational excellence.
The program format is basic. An interview with one of Virginia’s Higher Education “voices” is conducted by my longtime friend and VCCS Assistant Vice Chancellor for Public Relations, Jeff Kraus. I produce a podcast around it. Most episodes will be in the vicinity of five to six minutes.
The first episode of the program was published this afternoon. You can listen on the VaHigherEd Blog, via RSS, or on podcast directories such as Blubrry and Podcast Alley. We expect to be available on iTunes soon, but in the meantime you can subscribe using this link. Or, you can just click on the play button below!
Please check it out!
Changes for EndGame PR Podcast Production
Please excuse the promotional post, but I wanted to let everyone know about a few changes to EndGame PR Podcast Production. Production of podcasts for businesses, nonprofits, and government entities is just one of the services offered by EndGame Public Relations. It’s a part of my business that I’m particularly fond of, since I have a background as a radio journalist.
The first announcement I have is that I revamped the podcast production page on the EndGame PR website. Not a huge change, but I like the way it looks MUCH better now. The next announcement is more of a tease. I have big news coming in the next few days, so stay tuned!
