SEO geeks professionals around the net are abuzz today, as there’s a lot of speculation that Google is running its latest pagerank update. What does this mean for you and your website or blog? Not much. Your pagerank is actually constantly updated. However, what’s visible on the Google’s toolbar and other tools you can download that show pagerank is only updated a few times a year. BUT, if you have a high pagerank people may be more willing to link to you and see your site as an expert.
The last pagerank update gave Media Relations and SEO PR a PR3. However, right after the update I changed the directory where this blog sits from www.endgamepr.com/wordpress to www.endgamepr.com/blog, which wiped out my visible pagerank. My guess is that my little blog will end up with a PR3 or PR4. We’ll see when it’s over!

i agree, many webmasters love the idea of having the TBPR but this causes confusion as it can show you different results then what your PR really is, i hope google get rid of TBPR but i would say they wouldent as its a great marketing tool for google
