Custom WordPress Themes from the WordPress Theme Generator
I’ve mentioned on a number of occasions (I’m certainly not the first) that a great strategy to improve the search rankings of your business site and promote your business at the same time is to start a corporate blog. It can be product related or, like mine, more about strategies related to your business. One problem people may run into is how to design the blog.
If you’re savvy about code, you can do what I did, which is take an existing WordPress theme and change it to suit your needs. I used Mistylook 3.2 and changed nearly everything except the major overall structure. But, not everyone has the time or inclination to do that. On the other hand, you don’t want to use a standard template and have your blog look like everyone else’s … do you?
Enter the WordPress Theme Generator. Developed by Yvo Schaap, it allows you to pick the colors, layout, and look by using a fairly easy to use interface. When you’re done, it spits out the theme. Plug it into WordPress, and you’re ready to go.
If anyone has used this to build a fully operational blog, let me know. From everything I could see, the implementation of the generator was sound, but I didn’t go through the whole process. It’s a great idea.

AGHH iv been trying to use it but it doesnt make you an admin box so afterwards you cant log in! i had to replace it with a custon theme just to login! where am i going wrong or is it just pap?? xx
Wish I could help, but I can’t begin to think I could provide support for the product. You might try contacting the people who built the “generator”.
